I'm Tina and I write The Common Cents Home. I have four beautiful children and I am the wife to a wonderful husband. My life passion in making a frugal, loving home. I love the prospect of having an old-fashioned lifestyle, but believe there are easier ways to obtain it. I believe that self-reliance, tradition and simplicity are what creates a happy life. Four children and a husband do keep me busy, so I'm always looking for tricks and shortcuts to make things happen as easily as possible and within our financial means. It has taken some research and a lot of trial and error for me to achieve a balance that is both simple and economical.
