Seriously, this cleaning product has rocked my world! I love it to bits and it is the only commercial cleaner I keep in my home.
Let me give you a little background. About 3 years ago, two of my children were diagnosed with asthma. The asthma seemed to be triggered by environmental factors. I started carefully evaluating every cleaning product that I use in my home, my concern was toxicity and strong fumes. I do use some things like vinegar and baking soda for cleaning, but I also wanted something strong, something to get the yucky jobs done that would have a light, clean smell so that I would get that "oooh, my home SMELLS so clean!" kind of result. I searched and searched and didn't have any real luck, then my dad recommended Jungle Jake to me. He had picked it up on a recent vacation to Minnesota, I had never seen it in the stores on the West Coast, and I agreed to try it. I was surprised to discover that it is the best stuff I have ever used. It is biodegradable, non-toxic and highly concentrated so a very little bit goes a very long way.
Since the discovery my dad has continued to deliver a fresh gallon jug of it to me each year. I haven't ordered it on-line, but I found this site that sells it. One gallon of this fantastic, miracle juice is more than enough to last all year in our home. I dilute it down in my spray bottle and I use it to clean kitchen counters, the table, sinks, bathroom fixtures and add it to my mop water to clean my floors. It does a great job cleaning the greasy, grimey yuck from my stove top and I use it to wipe down my white kitchen cabinet doors, too. The best part is the smell; Jungle Jake is fresh and "jungly," I know that isn't the best description but without a smell-a-puter (yeah, I just made that up) to give you a sample whiff, that is the best I'm going to be able to do. At $10.69 for a year's worth of cleaning product it is also a very frugal bargain.
Unfortunately, I get absolutely NOTHING for this endorsement... I have no association with USA Hardware or Stearns (the manufacturer.) I just get the satisfaction of having told you about a super-duper product that I absolutely love!
