Feed Your Family For Less Than $30 Per Week- Part 2

Step two of my plan to feed my family on less than $30 per week was to start laying it out on a calendar. Plan out which days I would cook which meals. I opened up blank calendar templates for six weeks and began plugging meals in. I focused on trying to get a well rounded week. I didn't want to have chicken three times in a row or make pizza the same week I make spaghetti. I also plotted out my plans for breakfasts. I decided that I would make 4 different breakfasts each week and on the 5th morning it would be mom's choice. The 4 breakfasts will repeat week after week.

Here is my six week meal plan.

This all looks very good. I notice that some weeks there are 3 nights you don't cook~are you eating out those three nights, or having leftover nights?

Does the $30 a week include lunches? You don't have any lunches listed. Also, I'd like to know the answers to the questions that Suzanne asked as well. How many are in your family? I've been feeding my family for less than $30 a week, and there are 8 of us. My husband works from home nad we homeschool, so that also includes lunches and snacks. I enjoy seeing what others are doing as well. You can see what we do on my site; I have 4 1/2 months of menus up.
